VXelements
VXelements is a 3D data acquisition software developed by Creaform that consists of three modules: VXscan™, VXprobe™ and VXtrack™. It powers the whole range of scanning and probing systems from the Handyscan 3D and HandyPROBE to the new MetraSCAN. This platform preserves a user-friendly and intuitive working environment. Each one of these products is sold with VXelements software.
VXscan
It is specialized in the acquisition and optimization of 3D scanning data.
Key features are:
- Surface acquisition is rendered in real time
- Generates automatically STL files
- Surface optimization that ensures an accurate meshing by not creating multiple scan layers
- Sensor auto calibration
- Surface optimization of the meshing such as hole filling, smart decimation or boundary filters
VXprobe
The VXprobe module allows data acquisition from the HandyPROBE and can be shared with other VXelements components or third-party softwares.
Key features are:
- Executes metrology functions like:
- Simple touch-point measurement
- Touch-point measurement of basic geometrical entities such as planes, circles, polygons, etc.
- Geometric calculations such as angles and distances
- The results generated can be exported in IGES files
- Access to both the HandyPROBE and the C-Track calibration functions
- Ability to connect with third-party metrology software
VXtrack
This module adds dynamic tracking capability to the C-Track line of dual camera sensors. Now, it can record 30-3D images-per-second of a reflector or sets of reflectors in real time for the study of a variety of applications involving motion tracking.
Key features are:
- Track a robotic arm
- Track assembly operations (i.e. aerospace)
- Track tools path
- Low-frequency vibration analysis
- Capture of movement (i.e. biomechanics)
