The ALUFIX system has been evolving constantly in order to comply with the requirements of the different clients and applications. One important aspect of the ALUFIX system is that all its components, regardless of its grid size or type are interconnectable. The main ALUFIX types are:
ALUFIX Classic
Offers the highest system accuracy and has applications in all industries for all types of fixtures and gauges.
ALUFIX XL
The patented new system, fully interconnectable with the ALUFIX Classic range, offers an excellent combination of strength and accuracy. It is ideal for large fixtures like for instance in the aerospace industry where XL fixtures have been used for assembly as well as inspection fixtures.
ALUFIX OPEN
Complete new range of extruded angels and channels which offer very light and robust fixtures on a budget price. This family of components is also fully compatible with the other ALUFIX families.
MEGALU
Is a family of special extruded elements, which are cut to the required length for fixtures that are allocated to a specific component. MEGALU is recommended when flexibility and reusability of the fixturing components are not required.
ALUGRIP
The ALUGRIP range was developed for the fast assembly of simple laboratory fixtures. Quick locking connections enable fast and easy assembly of holding fixtures for metrology applications.
ALUQUICK
The introduction of a new family of ALUFIX components represents a quantum jump in cost efficiency and design productivity. Fixture design is simplified and assembly times are reduced significantly. The slotted aluminium profiles have a standard slot width minimising the amount of connector types. This system is ideal for large fixtures in the automotive and aerospace industry.
FIXINSPECT
FIXINSPECT is a family of high precision accessories used to speed up the measurement process when many features of a component have to be gauged with a coordinate measuring machine (CMM). The FIXINSPECT components are mainly used for verification of bores, simple or threaded.
